Again in 2026 COSTA is offering stipends to help offset the cost of registration for the 2026 USAT nationals. To be eligible for a stipend, athletes and coaches must belong to a school/dojang that is a COSTA member. The deadline to request a stipend is August 1st.
Alternatively, athletes and coaches may join COSTA as an individual. Email treasurer@cotkd.org for the membership application. (Memberships run from January to December).
To request a stipend, email your full name (or parent’s full name for athletes younger than 15), your mailing address, school/dojang affiliation, and proof of paid USAT nationals registration (for coaches and athletes) or paid USAT nationals seminar registration (for referees) to treasurer@cotkd.org by August 1, 2026.
Individuals who fall into multiple categories (athlete and coach or athlete and referee) may request only one stipend.
Funding is limited and will be processed on a first come-first served basis. These stipends are for Colorado athletes, coaches, and referees only.
As we prepare for the USAT nationals, COSTA is still looking to recognize athletes who participated in the US Open series (east or west)! Please send photos and info to your athlete representative, Mitchell Norsen, at AthleteRep@cotkd.org
