Mrs. Thompson began training in taekwondo as an adult after watching her kids train and compete in sparring and demo for a number of years. Her focus is poomsae, and she has been selected for the USA Taekwondo Poomsae Academy as well as the US national poomsae team. Mrs. Thompson is a small business owner and a graduate of North Carolina State University and Colorado State University. She joined the COSTA board in 2022.
